Maimonides Chavurah

Kol Ami’s Maimonides Chavurah for physicians and chaplains will discuss a case from medical and spiritual perspectives, looking at relevant Jewish texts and tradition. Open to all Kol Ami physicians and chaplains.

If you plan on attending, please email Rabbi Address at Jewish Sacred Aging.

Maimonides Chavurah at Congregation Kol Ami, co-sponsored by Jewish Sacred Aging, is unique among synagogue programs in our area. This chavurah is a place of learning, sharing, intellectual discussion, and spirituality as it relates to Judaism and medicine.

Through case-based learning and Jewish text study, we provide learning and depth into the Jewish spiritual and ethical intersections with medical science and practice, of which there are many.

We invite everyone to bring their individual and unique perspectives to these meetings and conversations, along with full participation and involvement, and the hope that you can bring examples to discuss from your own personal and professional life.
