Security Preparedness Drill

As you know, the safety and security of our congregation remain a top priority. We are grateful for our strong partnership with JFed Security, LLC, as well as our ongoing collaboration with local law enforcement.  

As part of our continued commitment to keeping our community informed, prepared, and safe, our Security Committee has arranged for JFed to facilitate another active shooter preparedness drill prior to Shabbat services on Friday, June 12, promptly at 5:45 pm.

This exercise is strictly a drill and is intended to help familiarize congregants with how to respond in the event of a critical incident within a controlled environment. We’ve chosen this day and time to maximize participation and respect the sanctity of Shabbat. The program will conclude before services begin.

Participants will remain in the sanctuary and will be instructed on best practices and survival skills in the event an active threat was ever to occur.  All congregants are invited to attend.
